Research in the Saini lab seeks to define “normal” and “pathological” levels of genome instability and determine what role environmental and genetic factors play in shaping somatic genomes. For our research, we use a unique combination of budding yeast, patient-derived tissue culture models, as well as computational biology. We are situated in the lovely port city of Charleston, South Carolina where we are proud to have created a creative, collaborative and open-minded Research Lab.
